Who we are

Uhlenbusch: EU AI Act Icons (“the app”) is operated by Uhlenbusch.Agency, Bosinks Kamp 8, 48531 Nordhorn, Germany (“we”). Contact: jasper@detailing1.de. We are the data controller for the data described below.

What the app does not collect

The app never requests access to your customers, orders, or checkout. We store no customer personal data — not names, not email addresses, not order contents. The label script that runs in your storefront sets no cookies, uses no tracking, and processes no personal data of your visitors.

What we store

• Your shop domain, app settings, and the authentication tokens Shopify issues to the app.
• Technical data about your store images: file names, image URLs, image dimensions, and provenance metadata (for example C2PA or IPTC markers) used to determine whether an image is AI-generated.
• An activity log of label changes made in the app (which staff account made which change, and when) — your compliance trail.

Backup copies of images (created before a label is printed into an image) are stored in your own Shopify Files, inside your Shopify account — not on our servers.

Where data is processed

All app data is hosted on Google Cloud in Frankfurt, Germany (region europe-west3): Cloud Run for the application and Cloud SQL for the database. Images are processed in memory for analysis and label printing and are not retained on our servers afterwards.

How long we keep data

• Session tokens are deleted when you uninstall the app.
• All remaining shop data is permanently deleted when Shopify sends the shop redaction request, 48 hours after uninstall.

GDPR requests

The app implements Shopify’s mandatory privacy webhooks. Customer data requests and customer redaction requests are acknowledged and logged; since the app stores no customer data, there is nothing to export or erase. Shop redaction deletes all stored shop data. For any privacy question or request, contact jasper@detailing1.de — we answer within 30 days.

Third parties

We use Google Cloud (EU, Frankfurt) as our hosting provider and the Shopify platform APIs. We do not sell data, we do not share data with advertisers, and we use no third-party analytics in the app or in your storefront.

We will update this page when data handling changes and adjust the date above. Material changes are announced inside the app.
